Replacement optic mounting screws for RMR/SRO direct-mount applications — 4-40 thread with a Torx+ drive that grips harder and resists cam-out far better than a standard 4-40 fastener. Built stronger than a standard 4-40, too: they take more torque without snapping, so you can seat your optic tight and trust it to stay put under recoil. The set includes multiple screw lengths to fit most RMR-footprint optics and to accommodate RMR-footprint adapter plates, where the added stack height changes the screw length you need. Whether you’re mounting direct or running a plate, there’s a length in the set to match. Because the two screws holding your optic aren’t the place to cut corners.

Important: Screw length must be matched to your optic and mounting depth. An over-length screw can impinge the extractor and induce malfunctions — trim or select length so the screw secures the optic fully without protruding into the slide. If you’re unsure, have installation performed by a competent gunsmith.
